However, one thing that has improved is the interest in electric vehicles. The global sales of electric vehicles increased in the first half of 2021 by 168% compared to 2020. About 2.65 million vehicles were sold in this year.

in 2022 that will surely up the EV game.
1. Fisker
Ocean
This EV has a range of 250 miles and costs about
USD 37499 before fees and taxes. Thanks to the federal tax credit in the US,
people who qualify for it will get this EV for just under USD 30,000. That

2. GMC
Hummer EV Pickup (EV³ˣ)
EV fans have been waiting for a long time for
this electrified version of the colossal gas guzzlers, the Hummer. In 2020, the
company gave a glimpse of what the EV would be like. The 2022 EV, GMs edition 1
Hummer Electric would cost more than USD 110k. It recently began rolling out to
the first customers.
3. Kia
EV6
With this electric vehicle, Kia is initiating a
new design focus. It will be the first electric vehicle built on the Global E-DMP
platform from Hyundai. This EV will be racier and will have a more contemporary
design. It will also have 577hp and 546 lb-feet of torque. It will go from zero
to 62 MPH in just 3.5 seconds. EV 6 will be available in all 50 states of the
US.
4. Lucid
Air Pure
If you are looking for a luxury electric sedan,
this one is a good option. The Airdream edition of this car has already reached
a few lucky customers. Only 520 units of this car would be available, and each
of them will cost USD 169,000. It will have a 520-mile range. It's also the
longest-range electric car on the road because it beats Tesla by over 100
miles.

5. Polestar

When Polestar 2 arrived, everyone thought it
would be the best EV around for some time. Things changed in June 2021 when Polestar
released the teaser of its electric EV, Polestar 3. It will cost around USD
75000 and share a platform and battery with The 2022 Volvo XC90. It has a range
of up to 373 miles and fast charging that reaches 80% in just 20 minutes.
6. Rivian
R1S
With a starting price of USD 70,000 and a range
of up to 316 miles, this EV is an appealing option. It will be available in
five and seven-passenger layouts. The flat-folding seats of the EV are its key
feature, and even the CEO called it an awesome car camping setup.
7. Tesla
Cybertruck
Anyone who likes electric vehicles would have
heard of Tesla Cybertruck. It was expected to be launched in 2021, but due to
some delays, it will now be launched in 2022. Pre-orders worth USD 80 billion
are already in place for this EV. The key features of the EV are four motors, four-wheel
